Hide My Disk 1.5

Hide My Disk is a computer drive protection tool for Windows. There are three versions of Hide My Disk. The free version, which supports hiding any drive on your computer, serves as a sort of trial version. It doesn't have any limitations, time-based or otherwise. However, it lacks most of the features that can be found on the other two versions: Standard and Pro.

The free version can only do one thing: hide your drives. From the main window, you will see a list of drives found on your system. From there, you can choose one and then click on "Hide" to effectively render it invisible. If you go to My Computer, you won't see hidden drives. The status of all your drives is shown at the bottom of the screen. The free version does not offer password-protection. It is available, though, in the other two versions, which also offer hiding files and folders, a hard disk monitoring tool, and even remote control capabilities. The paid versions also include free upgrades for one year.

All in all, Hide My Disk, works well. It hides drives successfully and without any errors. The paid versions offer great functionality and aren't that expensive.
